The Chinese manufacturer that just recently made its flagship model Vivo X80 Pro known will be preparing at least two new models for this series. It seems that in October 2022 we will have a more affordable model and a premium one for the most demanding consumers.
The most affordable will naturally be the Vivo X80 Lite, a smartphone that should integrate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. According to leaks, this model is currently under development, but should also arrive in October.
Vivo’s new models should officially arrive in October 2022
On the other hand, the Vivo X80 Pro+ model should improve some aspects compared to the current Vivo X80 Pro recently presented, opting here for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It will necessarily be the most expensive model in the current X80 range presented recently.
It is important to note that this information was first provided by the publication RootMyGalaxy, which will have obtained privileged information. Apparently, we will have at least two new smartphone models to complete the current range, indicating the manufacturer’s confidence in its new devices.
Still looking at the Lite model, we can find Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processors here, or MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100, depending on the market they are intended for. In any case, the performance of both will be at the level of other mid/high range Android smartphones released in 2022.

This mobile device can also have up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. It will also have a strong emphasis on the camera and build quality, thus accompanying the current X80 range.
Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t have information about its possible sale price to the public. Therefore, we will have to wait for its (expectable) presentation next October, or for the release of new information.
