We were able to show you the first render images of Samsung’s planned rugged smartphone, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro . Samsung also makes no secret of the appearance of the smartphone and has already shown it in the course of the event announcement for July 13, 2022 . The optics of the smartphone would be clarified, but leaker Evan Blass went one better with the official specs sheet and marketing materials and also made the technical details of the smartphone public in advance. The XCover 6 Pro has a 6.6-inch display panel. Here you rely on TFT with a resolution of Full HD+. A refresh rate of up to 120 Hz is supported.
An Octa processor works inside, which was manufactured using the 6nm process. Something from the Exynos series will probably be used. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. Also part of the game: New mobile communication standards with 5G and in the home WLAN, Wi-Fi 6E is just as progressive. Thanks to dual SIM, two SIM cards fit in the smartphone. By the way, Samsung relies on Android 12 for the XCover 6 Pro.
The camera uses a 50-megapixel main sensor (f/1.8, AF) and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor. Special feature: The 4050 mAh battery can be replaced independently. Unsurprisingly, however, the weight is just under 235 grams. Logically, the well-protected case is also reflected in the weight. In addition to an IP68 certification, there is also a MIL-STDS-810H certification. Also: Gorilla Glass Victus+. By the way, a fingerprint scanner is in the power button, but it can also be unlocked with a face unlock.
